Wings of Hope Joins NorthStar Care Community

ALLEGAN, Mich. (September 21, 2026) – Wings of Hope Hospice & Palliative Care is the newest affiliate to the NorthStar Care Community, effective October 1, 2026. Wings of Hope joins three legacy not-for-profits, Arbor Hospice, Centrica Care Navigators and Hospice of Michigan, as part of NorthStar Care Community, the largest hospice and palliative care organization in the state and one of the largest not-for-profit hospices in the United States. The combined skills and resources from all four organizations will serve nearly 3,000 hospice and palliative patients daily.

Wings of Hope will maintain its brand identity and programs and will continue to provide services to patients and families without interruption while keeping care teams intact. The organization will provide services throughout Allegan County and surrounding communities. Arbor Hospice, Centrica Care Navigators and Hospice of Michigan will continue to operate in their current service areas representing more than 50 counties throughout the lower peninsula.

NorthStar Care Community is an organization of mission-driven providers, programs and services devoted to continually increasing access to care for serious illnesses and support during end of life – especially at home. With the addition of Wings for Hope, NorthStar Care Community will now employ more than 1100 individuals and utilize more than 600 volunteers throughout the state of Michigan.
