Wings of Hope implemented social distancing measures on March 17, 2020 and is following Governor Whitmer’s March 24th shelter-in-place order as an essential business.

Nurses and aides continue to visit patients both face to face and via telephone.  Social Workers and the Spiritual Care Coordinator are primarily working from home and visiting patients for emergency situations only while maintaining a physical distance of 6 feet from other individuals.

Office staff are primarily working from home.  Volunteers are not visiting patients face to face but are making check-in calls to hospice families.

Wings’ Leadership team is meeting daily via telephone to keep a close watch on this rapidly evolving pandemic and to discern how best to take care of the patients and families who depend on us.

Wings Home will continue to stay open as long as there are caregivers available. Click here for a statement from the Wings Home.

Thank you for your continued support.
